Business consulting that changes how your company actually works

We sit inside your operations for weeks at a time. We read your spreadsheets, interview your staff and watch where time disappears. Then we fix the gaps. That is what consulting should look like.

What we bring to your business

Every engagement starts with a question: where is money, time or talent being wasted? We follow the answer wherever it leads.

Operational diagnostics

We map your workflows from raw material to customer delivery. Bottlenecks, duplicated tasks, approval loops that add days: we find them and quantify the cost. Most clients discover 12 to 18 per cent of their operating budget is absorbed by steps nobody questions.

Financial restructuring

Cash flow forecasts, debt renegotiation, capital allocation reviews. We work with your finance director to rebuild the numbers so the board can make decisions based on what the business will look like in eighteen months, not what it looked like last quarter.

Growth strategy

Market entry analysis, pricing model design and channel selection. We have guided manufacturers into European distribution and helped service firms double revenue by narrowing their target market rather than broadening it. Growth is often about saying no to the wrong customers.

People and leadership

Hiring the wrong senior manager costs roughly 2.5 times their annual salary when you include lost productivity and rehiring. We design interview frameworks, compensation benchmarks and 90-day onboarding plans that cut mis-hires in half.

Most advice fails because it stays in a slide deck

You have probably hired consultants before. They delivered a polished presentation, shook hands and left. Three months later the recommendations sat in a shared drive, untouched.

We work differently. Our consultants stay embedded in your team during the implementation phase. They attend your Monday stand-ups, sit next to your operations manager and troubleshoot problems the same week they appear.

  • Recommendations tied to named owners and calendar dates
  • Fortnightly progress reports with measurable KPIs
  • A 60-day post-engagement review at no extra charge
  • Direct mobile access to your lead consultant throughout

How an engagement unfolds

Four phases, each with a clear deliverable. You approve the next phase only when you are satisfied with the last one.

Discovery week

We spend five days on-site. We interview key staff, review financial data and observe daily operations. By Friday you receive a written summary of what we found and a preliminary scope of work.

Analysis and modelling

Our analysts build scenario models: what happens if you cut product line C, renegotiate supplier terms, or restructure the sales team? Each scenario includes projected P&L impact over 12 months.

Implementation support

We assign a consultant to work alongside your team for 8 to 16 weeks. They manage the change calendar, train staff on new processes and resolve resistance before it stalls progress.

Review and handover

Sixty days after our consultant steps back, we return for a two-day review. We measure results against the original targets and leave you with a maintenance playbook your team owns permanently.

Measured outcomes from recent projects

These figures come from signed-off client reports, not estimates.

31%

Reduction in order-to-delivery time for a Belfast-based food distributor after warehouse layout and routing changes.

£1.2m

Annual procurement savings achieved for a 120-person engineering firm by consolidating vendors and renegotiating contracts.

4.8x

Return on consulting fees reported by a retail chain that restructured its store management hierarchy on our recommendation.

Questions we hear often

Most of our clients have between 15 and 500 employees, but the real qualifier is complexity, not headcount. If your business has multiple revenue streams, cross-functional dependencies or a supply chain with more than three links, there is almost certainly room to improve. We have delivered measurable value for a 12-person logistics firm and for a 400-person manufacturer.
The discovery week is a fixed fee of £3,200 plus travel expenses. After that, we quote a project fee based on scope. A full diagnostic-through-implementation engagement for a mid-size company usually falls between £18,000 and £45,000, depending on duration and the number of consultants required. We never bill by the hour.
Yes. About a third of our current clients are based in England or Scotland. We travel to your site for the discovery phase and can handle analysis and review phases remotely if that suits your schedule. We have also supported two projects in the Republic of Ireland.
Before implementation begins, we agree on three to five KPIs with your leadership team. These are financial or operational metrics, not subjective satisfaction scores. Examples include cost per unit produced, average days sales outstanding, employee turnover rate, or gross margin by product line. We track these fortnightly and report against the baseline we established during discovery.
We include a performance clause in every contract. If agreed KPIs are not met within the stated timeframe and we have had full access to implement, we extend our support at no additional fee until the targets are reached or we mutually agree to close the engagement. We have invoked this clause twice in fourteen years.
